Register to provide feedback on the draft of the 6th Edition Rules!

The IATF has completed the draft sixth edition of the Rules - a major revision of the current fifth edition of the Rules - and is ready to engage stakeholders to provide feedback on the changes before the final draft is approved and released later this year. The requirements of the Rules are binding on IATF-recognised certification bodies, but there are also some requirements that should be understood by any IATF 16949-certified organisation.

The IATF invites IATF 16949 certified organisations to participate in the feedback on the draft of the Rules 6th Edition. Your organisation's opinion is important and your answers help us to improve the readability and practicality of the requirements. The draft 6th Edition Rules will only be available in English and any feedback provided must be written in English to be taken into consideration.

IATF 16949 certified organisations wishing to provide feedback must fill out a registration form by clicking here within and no later than 6 June 2023, midnight US Eastern Time (ET). Only one registration per IATF 16949 certified company is permitted. To register, you must provide a business email address, organisation name and IATF certificate number; the accuracy of the information provided will be verified by the IATF. Information that cannot be verified will result in the registrant being excluded from participation in the feedback survey. Once the registration window is closed, the 12 June 2023 an e-mail will be sent to each verified participant with a link to access the documents needed to complete the review of the sixth draft of the rules.
